Campo Hills Station Project

Our current Fire Station was constructed during WW II. As the population we serve has expanded we have outgrown this historic building. Although we are in the process of expanding our living accommodations there is not enough room to park all our equipment. Add to that no heating or air conditioning and it can be very uncomfortable in the facility for the staff and equipment and a very uncomfortable place to work.

Current WW II Era Station 86

Now, thanks to a donation by Jay Houston from the Campo Hills Homes project, now KB Home Campo Hills, we have a piece of commercial property for a new Fire Station. Located in the commercial zone, at the eastern entrance to Campo Hills, this empty lot is now begging for our new Fire House. Thanks to Architect James Holmberg, III with S.V.D.P. Management, Inc. we have a preliminary plan for the new station.

Next step? About $1,000,000.00! As you can imagine this is a long term project for us but, one grant at a time, we will get it done.
